Say Something - On A Bus

If you "See Something" that is suspicious, you should contact the Metro Sheriffs. You can do this by contacting a Metro Sheriff's Deputy in person or by phone.

IF YOU SEE SOMETHING ON A BUS:

  • Note the time and location.
  • Note the bus number (four digit number found inside above the dashboard and on all four sides of the exterior of the bus).
  • Note the direction of travel (North, South, East or West).
  • Notify the bus operator when safe.
  • Be prepared to give a description of the item or person to the bus operator and Metro Sheriff Deputies.

These are located throughout the Metro system at every entrance or Ticket Vending Machine and turn-style on the Red line.

IN PERSON:
You can contact any Metro Security or Sheriff's deputy to report suspicious activity.


AS ALWAYS:
Never approach an unattended item or suspicious person. If you need to report a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1 and give the operator your location or bus or train number.
